Around Kathmandu Valley Trek

Kathmandu valley offers a variety of superb trekking routes. These delightful short treks near the Kathmandu valley, just within few hour drives, the treks offer typical rural Nepal with magnificent views of different Himalayan ranges and it has been designed for people with less time or for those not wishing to travel too far outside of the Kathmandu Valley. It's not always easy walking but generally so, however the treks are at low altitude compared to many other treks in Nepal.

Trekking around Kathmandu valley offers rich insight into Nepali village life, history, culture and religion as well as offering some wonderful vistas of the Himalayas. Very few people have trekked around the Kathmandu valley. The perimeters are rich with cultural heritage along with excellent mountain views. It is surrounded by high Himalayan Mountains such as Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Gauri Shanker, Everest and Droje Lakpa all above 7000 meters high.
Mountain views stretching until 180 degree from far west Annapurna range to Mt. Everest in the east of Nepal on this trek. The hike offers a rich insight into the religion, culture, history and lives together with the picturesque daily work in the fields by its inhabitant. The valley perimeters are located between 1800m and 2800m and in spring it offers viewpoints like Chisapani, Nagarkot, Dhulikhel, Balthali and stretches from Everest in the east to Annapurna in the west.
