Nepal is a Himalayan kingdom however it has dozens of small and big Lakes. Among them the Tilicho Lake is the highest Lake in the world located at the elevation of 4916m in Annapurana region which is 9th busiest popular trek in the world recorded UNESCO heritage.Likewise Gosaingkunda Lake lies North East of Kathmandu at the elevation of 4300m, people believed that there are dozens of small Lakes around except Gosainkunda, Bhairabkunda and Sarashwotikunda.
West of Kathmandu in Pokhara city there are few Lakes among them Fewa lake is the biggest and popular for boating , swimming and fishing the rest are smaller but attractive to visit for tourists like the names are Rupa tal, Begnas, Maidi tal, Naini tal, Dipang tal, Gude Lake and numerous more.East of Kathmandu there are few lakes called Panchpokhari, Bhairabkunda and Dudhkunda. Likewise west of Nepal few lakes called She Phoksumdo and Rara lake.In the Everest region a popular lake at the elevation of 4750m Gokyo lake, except it we have innumeral Lakes although our government doesn’t have any record about it.
